In 2020, Rezanejad premiered The Entertainer, a multi-episode reinterpretation of her earlier works, notably from the double album Honesty Without Compassion is Brutality. Performed in cities such as Trenčín, Bratislava, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Moscow, Rome, and Athens, the performance wove a narrative rich in allegory. At its heart was the story of a woman condemned to the stake for her unyielding devotion to God—a fate mirroring the moth’s fatal attraction to the flame.

Was the moth’s devotion instinct or choice? Could the woman’s sacrifice be considered an act of free will, or was it driven by love and faith? These haunting questions formed the core of Rezanejad’s performance, delving into the delicate balance between love, sacrifice, and autonomy. Through striking imagery and emotional depth, The Entertainer invited audiences to reflect on the profound complexity of human devotion.

THE ENTERTAINER, also known as Entertaining The Darkness, was performed between 2020–2021 at
